Centralised In-Home Repairers

For many in-home cases the nominated repairer is a centralised service provider managed by the vendor.

  • Centralised in-home repairers are always a locked repairer.  The lock ensures that only the centralised In-Home Repairer is displayed to stores for repairer selection and not a list.
  • This service provider (centralised In-Home Repairer ) is assigned  the case and has full view and control of the case. This centralised service provider will then, using their own processes, allocate the case to one of their authorised repairers and send a technician to the customer’s address.
  • This repairer/technician is able to go out to the customer’s premises and action the assessment and repair on the vendor and retailers behalf. All the notifications for these cases are sent to one central service provider account, and that service provider will be responsible for the case and communicating to the nominated repairer.
  • Centralised In-Home Repairers are set up the same as non-centralized in-home repairers, by the TechTeam, but have a lock attached to them.
