In-Home Case Creation

Item location

  • During case creation the store is asked to identify “Where is the item?”. For an in-home case, the store person selects “at the customers premises”.

Serial Numbers

  • All cases are required to have a valid serial number entered into Solvup.
  • Due to the item not being present at the time of case creation, entering a serial number into Solvup may not be possible, therefore only for in-home cases can the store bypass this requirement during case creation.

In-Home Case Identification

  • Once the case has been created, in order to identify if a case has been entered in as an in-home case, the addition of “At Home Service” to the case ID can be seen in case view.
