This update provides the repairer the ability to indicate if they are unavailable for a certain period of time by updating their availability to “Away” via the configuration section.
How to set repairer’s Away status:
- Log in to your Solvup account at https://apps.solvup.com/login.
- Click “Configure Tab”, click “Change Details” Tab, and scroll down…
… and you’ll find the Repairer Availability settings. - In the Repairer Availability settings, you can change your status to Away and set the date and time of your Away period.

- Select “Away Mode ON”

- Once selected, date and time duration will pop ou
- Set the starting date and starting time of your Away status
- Then set the end date and end time of your away status.
- You will be back to “Available” status once it reaches the End Date/Time that was set.
- You can also add a message in the Message Box for the store and the customer to read. Sample below.
- Click “Save” once all set and done.

- Once saved, you will be redirected to Configure Tab page, go back to Change details, you will see that the current status is in “Away Mode”.
- You can also update the “Start Date/Time” and “End Date/Time” if necessary. Just do not forget to “Save”.

NOTE:
- When the repairer sets themselves away an email confirmation is sent to their email address. This includes:
- The date and time they have indicated they are not active
- And the date and time they will be available again
- When the repairer is set to Away status, and the repairer logged out and logged in of their Solvup profile, the Away Mode Message will pop out. This pop-up message will also show if the website is being refreshed.
- Select “Close” if you have no changes to your away time.
- Select “Yes, I’m in” ONLY IF YOU WISH TO BE AVAILABLE INSTANTLY. Your status will be automatically change to AVAILABLE. (You don’t need to edit your status in the Change Details Tab then.)
REMINDERS / GUIDELINES:
- For retailers/stores/user: When creating a case, if the repairer is inactive, the repairer will still appear on the repairer list if applicable and can be selected but the REPAIRER IS AWAY message is visible.
- If repairer is away, and was assigned to a Solvup case, the stores and retailers can also view the selected repairer’s status once they open the assigned Solvup case.
- If a repairer changed its status while assigned to Solvup cases, the store/retailer of the cases will be notified that the repairer changed its availability.
